For years now, we have been living with the effects of Coronavirus (Covid-19); however now that restrictions are being lifted, and people are starting to come to terms with the new ways of living with Covid-19, the public events and entertainment sector is starting to find it's feet again. Organsiers are starting to plan their summer, autum and winter events but with added Covid-19 restrictions and considerations in place.
The guidance is constantly being updated and changed as new guidelines are fed down from the Government and more learning occurs around the virus.
The government has published several guidelines to assist organsiers, businesses and the public to plan and attend public events safely:
The guidance around healthcare and Covid-19 is vastly different to that of the guidance to the general public. The restrictions are far greater and the guidance much tighter. For example, the wearing of face masks is still mandatory in healthcare environment and the guidance around cleaning and PPE much stricter.
We, as an organisation, are used to this new 'business as usual' and work with event organisers and local councils to ensure that our processes are as safe as possible for our staff and our clients.
All of our staff have access to all of the relevant PPE that they will require to keep themselves and our clients safe. We will also have access to hand sanitisers, hand wash stations, and other PPE required as per the relevant guidance for healthcare professionals and environments.
We create Medical Operations Plans in partnership with organisers and local authority organisations, including our preparedness and standard operating procedures around Covid-19 as well as other aspects of the safety of the event.
