We have made our 'Event Risk Calculator' to help work out how much cover you need for your event, based on the Health and Safety Executives (HSE) 'Purple Guide' for event planning. This guide and our risk calculator have been designed to guide you through planning the medical provision that you may require for your event.
The purple guide and our risk calculator are designed to guide you through the process, however you may find that if you do not follow the recommendations of the guide, your SAG meeting may not approve your event application. As an event organiser you have the ultimate responsibility to ensure that your medical provider is not only sufficient in numbers but also competent too. The vast majority of our staff here at Zulu Safety have an NHS background, with the majority working on, or have worked on the frontline with an Ambulance Trust. Our staff go through rigorous training both with the NHS and in our CPD sessions.
